Jon Pardi and his wife Summer recently announced that they’re expecting their first child, but back when she first told Jon the news, he was really confused.
When Summer surprised Jon it took him a minute to figure out what she was trying to say. She had this whole surprise announcement planned around their brand new boat so she could incorporate that into the surprise.
Summer printed out a “Baby on Board” sticker to put on the back of the boat, along with a positive pregnancy test, but Jon just looked at her with confusion. Even with the “Baby on Board sign” AND the pregnancy test he still didn’t get it. Jon just thought Summer was messing with him because he called the boat his new “baby.”
But when it finally hit Jon what Summer was trying to tell him, his expression goes from bewildered, to excited, to emotional, as he realized the news that he was finally going to be a dad.
It didn’t take long for Jon to go into full dad mode: “5 minutes later he was blasting ‘Baby Shark’ in the kitchen, already thriving,” Summer writes in the caption of her post.
The Pardis haven’t yet announced the sex of their baby, but in her Instagram Stories, Summer posted a poll so that fans can guess whether baby Pardi will be a boy or a girl.
