The group LANCO gets enjoy a solo #1 week with their single “Greatest Love Story.”

The five-man band consisting of Brandon Lancaster (lead vocals), Chandler Baldwin (bass guitar), Jared Hampton (keyboards), Tripp Howell (drums), and Eric Steedly (guitar) scored their first number one song last week on the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart.

Last week on the other major country radio airplay chart (Mediabase/Country Aircheck) it was Chris Janson sitting at the number one with his song “Fix A Drink.”

The advanced charts for this week show that “Greatest Love Story” by LANCO holds at #1 for a second week on the Billboard chart and moves up to the top spot on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart to enjoy a solo week at number one.

The group’s Tripp Howell spoke about the threshold the band seemed to cross while “Greatest Love Story” was marching up the charts, “When this one hit Top 20, it was literally like a light bulb switch [snaps fingers]. I mean like, no matter where we played thus far, there’s a bunch of people there singing our songs. And you’re settin’ there goin’ like, ‘I don’t think this would’ve happened like two months ago.'” Watch the music video for the song below.

Congratulations to LANCO on their multi-week, solo #1 song “Greatest Love Story.”
