Country Music’s Top Females to Perform on CMA Awards Show

The Country Music Association (CMA) announced that some of the top females in country music will take the stage to perform during the 49th Annual CMA Awards Show.

Four of the five nominees for the Female Vocalist of the Year have been announced as performers on the CMA Awards Show. Those performers-nominees are Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves and nominee-show co-host Carrie Underwood. LeAnn Womack is the fifth nominee in the category who was not revealed today as a performer for the show.

However, another nominated female act will be performing on the show according to the announcement. Maddie & Tae will perform on the CMA Awards Show and are up for New Artist, Vocal Duo and Music Video awards.

These top ladies in country music join the previously announced performers list that includes the show opening collaboration of Eric Church and Hank Williams Jr. as well as the collaboration performance of Thomas Rhett and Fall Out Boy.

More performers will be revealed in the weeks to come.

The performances will be spread through the three-hour live TV special when winners are also revealed for the 49th Annual CMA Awards starting at 7pm central time Wednesday, November 4th and airing live on ABC TV from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
