Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina have been friends since they were in middle school together. So, Kane had to have a good reason for missing his lifelong friend’s wedding, right?
The two country stars became friends in chorus at Lakeview Middle School in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia during the seventh grade. Kane even had his friend collaborate with him in 2017 on the hit song “What Ifs.” It is understandable that fans wondered why Kane was absent from Lauren’s big day.
Kane revealed his reason for missing the nuptials during a recent interview. Apparently, Kane was having a vasectomy on Lauren’s wedding day!
Kane has two daughters, Kingsley Rose (4) and Kodi Jane (2), and announced last December that they are expecting their third child, a boy. One can speculate that now that Kane will have a son, he and his wife Katelyn feel like their family is complete. Thus, the procedure to prevent any surprises down the road.
Lauren was understanding with her friend and posted a comment on social media to Kane about his reason for missing her wedding, “I forgive you @kanebrown and still love you [laughing emoji] You gotta do what you gotta do.“
