A woman named Tami Manis from Tennessee is now the proud holder of the Guinness World Record for longest mullet!
Tami says she began growing her mullet in the 80s. She decided to cut it in 1989, and instantly regretted it. She has been growing it again in 1990 and continued for every year since … 33 years. She says that her “mullet’s birthday” is February 9th, 1990.
Guinness did not have a record for the longest mullet prior to Tami contacting them. Now she has the record with a mullet that measures 5 feet 8 inches long.
By the way, the longest mullet for a male is a measly 3 feet 3 inches long. The men really need to step up their mullet game!
