94% of Americans are NOT Living in Their Dream Home … So, What Is It?

Most people take pride in their homes. However, that does not mean they are living in their dream home.

94% of people surveyed by IPX1031 say they are not living in what they consider their dream home. What would be their dream home? The answers vary.

For example, where would your dream home be located? 28% said a home in the suburbs. 22% said a home on the beach. 20% said a home in the country. 15% would want to live in the heart of the city. Another 15% said a home in the mountains.

Modern is the most popular choice for exterior design followed by; ranch, Victorian, farmhouse and cabin.

The interior style was also topped by modern then minimalist, traditional, contemporary and eclectic.

Most people are realistic about their dream home. While some say they want to live in a multi-million-dollar mansion, the majority of people surveyed said their dream home would cost $500,000 or less.
