Bloomington, IL in Top 100 Places to Live in U.S.

The Livability.com Top 100 Places to live in the U.S. have been revealed and Bloomington, IL made the list!

To compile their list, the website examined more than 2,300 cities considering more than 50 data points that fall into nine categories: amenities, education, economy, health care, demographics, transportation & infrastructure, housing, social & civic capital and remote-readiness.

Bloomington, IL came in at #64. The website says of the city;

Like many college towns, the city has diverse cultural offerings, great local boutiques and plenty of restaurants and nightlife options. In addition, residents enjoy amenities including Constitution Trail, more than 60 parks, a large producer-only farmers market and summer fun on Lake Bloomington. Even better? Bloomington residents also enjoy median housing costs well below the U.S. and Illinois average, low crime rates, an overall lower cost of living and access to health care systems. Adjacent to the town of Normal, the twin cities are often referred to as BloNo or B.N. and are considered one larger community.

  7. Fishers, Indiana

  9. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  10. Carmel, Indiana
