Parker McCollum’s month just keeps getting better. He was named the ACM New Male Artist just a week ago. Now he has scored the second number one song of his career.

The advanced releases of the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts show Parker at #1 for this week with “To Be Loved By You.” The song is on his album Gold Chain Cowboy available everywhere.

Parker also just played the Houston Rodeo for the first time in front of 73,000 fans. However, he says that even in small shows fans have been great to him.

“I’ve been surprised at a lot of places we’ve gone. I mean Portland, Maine, sold out. It was just an acoustic deal, but man they showed up and they knew every word to every song. It was really cool, man it’s, any time we go somewhere that you’re like ‘I don’t know about this’ it usually turns out to be one of the better ones.”

With another number one song on the set list things will likely keep getting better for Parker at shows big and small.
