Kelsea Ballerini and Dolly Parton are getting ready for their performance at the ACM’s and from the looks of this picture, the women adore each other!
Kelsea just shared a photo of she and Dolly backstage at rehearsals for the awards show.
“Just a couple of east Tennessee girls getting ready to sing together at the @acmawards” Kelsea wrote.
She even got a heart emoji in response from Dolly herself!
Dolly and Kelsea are teaming up for a performance of “Big Dreams and Faded Jeans” off Dolly’s new album, “Run, Rose, Run,” that just came out today! The album is based on her book of the same name and that comes out on Monday, March 7th, same day as the ACM Awards live from Las Vegas on Amazon Prime. Kelsea lent her voice to Dolly’s audiobook as the character AnnieLee, and that will be released on Monday as well!
Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, Walker Hayes, Chris Stapleton and more are on the star-studded list of performers also set to take the stage.
