This weekend, Adele helped a man propose during her ‘One Night Only’ CBS special and the magical moment was in front of over 300 people in attendance of the show, including many celebrities!

Adele told everyone to be quiet asked for silence as her fan Quentin led his blindfolded girlfriend, Ashley, to the stage for the big moment. 

Quentin fought back tears as he got down on one knee and asked Ashley to marry him. She removed her blindfold, but because the lights were dim she had no idea how many stars were watching the once in a lifetime engagement. As she heard the crowd quietly giggle over the sweet moment, she said “Who are these people?” as she continued to hear laughs throughout the crowd.

As Quentin delivered his romantic proposal, and tears fell from Ashley’s eyes, Quentin finally asked the question 300 of their new friends in the audience were dying to hear the answer to…“Will you marry me?” As Ashley gave Quentin her “YES!”, Adele came out on stage to sing “Make You Feel My Love” to a tearful but happy couple.

Adele seemed as relieved as Quentin by the successful proposal. “Thank god you said yes,” she said from the stage, “because I didn’t know who I was gonna have to sing this song to!”

Adele told the newly engaged couple to take a seat in the front row, between their new friends Lizzo and Melissa McCarthy, who oohed and aahed over the beautiful ring and offerered their conrgatulations with a glass of champagne, while Adele performed one of the most beautiful songs of all time “To Make You Feel My Love.”

You know, no big deal, super casual.
