Blake Shelton is finally sharing his sweet wedding gift to Gwen Stefani with the rest of the world! Blake has released the song he wrote for Gwen as his wedding vows at their wedding back in July!
“We Can Reach the Stars” is DEFINITELY the new wedding song!
The song served as his wedding vows and will be a bonus track on the deluxe version of his latest album, “Body Language.”
Blake announced the news last night on Instagram before the song debuted at midnight.
Gwen quickly reposted the news on her own account, gushing the song was the “most amazing beautiful gift i ever received.”
“We Can Reach the Stars” was co-written by Craig Wiseman. “Who are we to question God and His greater plan/You and me are a blessing and we all we’ve got to do is say amen, amen,” Blake sings in the opening. He followed with the chorus, “I know we can reach the stars / That’s how far my love will go for you / I know we can reach the stars / You’ve already hung the moon.”
Blake shed some tears as he sang to his wife-to-be and according to Carson Daly who was a wedding attendee, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Blake’s deluxe version of “Body Language” is due out December 3rd.
