Elvie Shane has taken his debut single “My Boy” to #1 on the country radio airplay singles charts.

The advanced release of the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts for this week show “My Boy” at number one on both charts. Elvie jumped from #5 to #1 on the Billboard chart and #4 to #1 on the Country Aircheck chart.

That is a pretty impressive move for the song. It’s even more impressive when you consider the song jumped past the viral hit “Fancy Like” from Walker Hayes and the duet “If I Didn’t Love You” from superstars Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood.

“My Boy” will be included as part of the album Backslider that will be available for digital download/streaming October 29th.

Listen for “My Boy” by Elvie Shane on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.
