Fox has announced that Trace Adkins has joined the cast of its upcoming country music drama, “Monarch”.

The network describes the new series as “an epic, multigenerational musical drama about America’s first family of country music”.

The drama also stars Susan Sarandon and Anna Friel.

The series is set to debut with a two night event starting on January 30th.
