It was something that many saw coming, and it’s now been confirmed. Luke Bryan won’t be performing at this year’s ACM Awards.

After being diagnosed with COVID-19, the country superstar and American Idol judge had no choice but to bow out from this year’s event.

Bryan revealed that he had contracted COVID on Monday and let fans know that he’s “doing well and looks forward to being back soon.”

Besides performing, Luke is nominated for Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year. The 2021 ACM Awards take place Sunday night.
