Brett Young is set to play a live, free, virtual show tonight (2/4) at 7PM central time (8PM eastern time).

Brett is teaming up with Spirit Airlines and Mastercard to play a very unique, live virtual show. He explains that it will be a full-band show at an airport.

“So, this Thursday night’s very exciting. I have partnered up with Spirit Airlines and Mastercard to do a big virtual show out in front of an active runway, in front of an airplane with my face on it, to help launch Spirit’s new rewards program called Free Spirit. So, it’s gonna be this Thursday, me and the whole band. And it’s gonna be a free show so, if you wanna go to Spirit’s YouTube channel, but also go to spirit.com/flyaway to get all the details. And it’s just been too long since we’ve gotten to play live music, so we’re looking forward to it and we hope to ‘see’ you there.”

Brett says that before he sings on his show today, he’s going to have to play host and interview the CEO of Spirit Airlines on the plane with Brett’s own face on it … followed by the most unique show of his career.

“Right leading up to the show, I’m going to do a little interview with the CEO in the front row in one of their new big front seats. And so, pretty much right as we wrap that interview, music’s gonna start playing and I’m gonna have to beeline to the back of the plane and actually walk down the steps from the plane. The plane will be parked with an active runway right behind it, so it’s a pretty cool deal. And as I walk down the stairs, that’s when the music will actually start. I think I have to start singing on the stairs. So, it’s gonna be interesting but pretty cool.”

With everything else that is unique about his show tonight, Brett says that having his face on the side of a plane is something that he never thought would be possible.

“Yeah, that’ pretty bizarre, in a cool way I think though. If you would’ve told like 14-year-old Brett that one day, not only was he gonna be on the side of a plane, but a plane that’s gonna be, in like regular rotation for the next six months, I probably would’ve laughed at you. But it’s pretty cool. You know, they put it on one of their larger planes too, so it’s gonna be going to L.A., and I think recently it just did Dallas and Vegas. And so, it’s kinda makin’ the rounds already. It’s a pretty surreal thing. It’s already getting tag quite a bit on Instagram, which is pretty funny.”

If you happen to see Brett’s face up in the sky or at an airport, you can snap a picture and post it using #catchmybrett.
