Electrician John Kinney visited the home of Gloria Scott about light fixture problems, but noticed that her home had more damage to it than he expected.

Kinney noticed that Scott’s home had plumbing damage, holes in the ceiling, and even raccoon visitors. Scott was also lacking running water.

Kinney and his friends volunteered free time to help Scott, eventually starting an online fundraiser and getting the resources to renovate her home. She now has running water, proper plumbing, a new porch, new windows and more.

Kinney started a Facebook page called Gloria’s Gladiators, which now has over 6,000 members looking to help out.

Have you done any acts of kindness lately? What is something kind that someone has done for you?
