Maren Morris has deleted all of the photos of her son Hayes on social media after getting harassed by mommy-shamers AGAIN!
I feel so bad for Maren, ever since her son Hayes was born she has been catching side eye from evil mommy-shamers all over the internet, and it looks like over the 4th of July weekend she had enough!
Maren has shared lots of fun and sweet moments of Hayes over the last few months, and it’s one of the reasons fans love her so much! We love being able to see such an intimate part of her life and how amazing of a mom she is to her 3 month old son. But someone always finds a way to critique and shame her so she has finally had enough.
Last week Maren posted a photo of herself and her son Hayes in matching swimsuits, sitting in a huge car shaped float on the lake with the caption “Motor floatin'”…cute, right?
The photo was later taken down, but seems to be put up again (for the time being anyway.)
The photo was adorable and fun, but of course, someone always has to ruin it because they think they are perfect. The mom-shamers jumped on Maren immediately asking why Hayes wasn’t in a life jacket.
Maren replied directly after one Twitter user criticized her and another jumped to her defense.
Honestly, I get so many criticisms of my motherhood on anything I post of Hayes, so I may just discontinue posting photos of him. Sucks but it’s kind of where I’m at. 😑

Maren’s husband Ryan Hurd immediately came to her defense and tweeted, “I’d just like to say, my wife usually doesn’t need me to defend her, but she’s a great mom, and my kid was not unsafe on a float in 1 feet of water being held by an adult with 5 people watching so she could get a picture.”
It looks like the current photo in question is back up, but all other photos of Hayes have been removed.
That’s such a shame! I LOVED watching Maren Morris and her little family, and I loved seeing Hayes grow up before our eyes. Why do people have to be so mean and nasty and ruin sweet moments for the rest of us?
Hang in there Maren, we think you are an AMAZING mom, don’t let the “Karens” of the world steal your shine!
