For a second month in a row a record number of jobs were added in America and the unemployment rate dropped.

TheĀ Department of Labor June 2020 jobs report (click here to see full report) revealed that 4.8 million jobs were added during the month of June. That is the most jobs added in a single month since 1939.

Combine the May and June reports and 7.5 million jobs were added during those two months. That means the economy has recovered one third of all jobs lost (22.1 million) during the months of March and April.

The report also reveals that the U.S. unemployment rate dropped from 13.3% to 11.1% for the month of June.

Do you think the economy will continue the faster than expected recovery?
