Country music singer-songwriter Jordan Davis is about to celebrate his first Father’s Day as a dad himself.

Jordan’s daughter Eloise recently turned seven months old. Being a father to her has brought the “Slow Dance In A Parking Lot” singer so much joy.

“Fatherhood is something, it really is tough to put into words,” Jordan states. “And, I don’t know, I think the coolest thing with a kid like her age is just the innocence. You see just how happy she is to be here, and I’m very happy she’s here myself [laughs].”

Jordan has been able to spend more time at home with his baby girl because of being quarantined like the rest of us. It has enabled him to experience so many things more completely as a father.

“One of my favorite things to do is to go in and get Eloise up in the mornings, and I just see this little bundle of joy,” Jordan confesses. “She is just so happy. She’s got a smile just like Kristen [his wife], and so it really is just crazy to go in in the morning. She could be crying, screaming and then you walk in, and the second she sees you, it’s all smiles and laughs.”

Trust me Jordan, there are many more joys to come. There will also be some frustrations. However, it is all the best thing to ever happen to you as you are finding out. Happy Father’s Day.

What is the thing that brought you the most joy when you became a father?
