The Carly Pearce collaboration with Lee Brice “I Hope You’re Happy Now” is the number one single in the nation this week.

The advance Billboard Country Airplay singles chart for this week shows “I Hope You’re Happy Now” has moved to the number one spot on the chart for this week.

This marks the second career chart topper for Carly Pearce. Her debut single “Every Little Thing” topped the chart in 2017.

Lee Brice now has seven career number one singles including this song.

Carly co wrote the song with Luke Combs, Randy Montana, and Jonathan Singleton. Lee shares how he first got involved with the song.

“She wrote a great song about her own story [and] her own life with Luke Combs, but for whatever reason she thought about my voice. And so, they called over and said, ‘Hey, would you be interested,’ even talking about doing a duet with her. And I said, ‘Yeah, I love her, I love her voice.’ And so, I did a vocal right there on my bus, and sent it to ’em, and that’s what you hear on the radio.”
