If you’ve kept up with Thomas Rhett through social media during quarantine, then you know it seems like he has been a non-stop songwriting machine, constantly posting new songs for fans to hear. It turns out, it’s not just your imagination. Thomas says, “During quarantine, I mean it’s been 60 something days, I’d probably say I’ve written 35 to 40 songs.”

Having his career put on pause, being unable to tour or interact with the fans, Thomas says, “I just feel like any kind of change in life can spark a new idea, and especially the same for your co-writers, because they’re going through the same stuff too. So, there’s definitely no shortage of ideas during this time and I do feel very creative.”

Thomas just celebrated “Beer Can’t Fix” becoming his 15th #1 song of his career, and his song “Be A Light” is currently sitting in the top 20 on the charts. With so many new songs pouring out of him right now, there’s a good chance we’ll be getting a new album from Thomas before the end of the year.
