The St. Jude Million Quarter Challenge is in the final weeks. We’ve got an update on the standings for you and some new fun ways you can help!

First of all I need to point out another location has joined the friendly competition to collect the most quarters and benefit the children of St. Jude. That makes 12 locations you can stop by and drop off your quarters.

Adding in the 4,000 quarters donated by Tito’s Vodka to get things rolling the current Grand Total is 13,848 quarters! Still a long way to go hit one million though.

The St. Jude Million Quarter Challenge continues through December 20th. Some of the locations have set up some fun ways you can donate your quarters and possibly win some prizes for yourself in the process in the final weeks. Of course they are wanting to help the total of quarters collected by their location in the friendly competition for bragging right too.

If you remember the “Grand Prize Game” from The Bozo Show you might want to check out the three locations that are substituting quarters for the ball for your chance to win. For a 20 quarter donation ($5) you can toss quarters into buckets.

Are you a little more daring? Then, we have the event for you.

DR McKays is hosting a Quarters Tournament Sunday, December 15th starting at 5 PM.

Where ever and how ever you donate, please just donate. It may be a handful of quarters to you, but it is something so much more to the children and families of St. Jude! The money helps ensure no family ever pays for anything at St. Jude. Families should focus on helping their children live, not how to pay for the life saving treatment they receive.
