Ancestry.com did some research and found out that Tom Hanks and Fred Rogers are long lost 6th cousins, or something like that.

The records proved that they shared a great, great, great, great, great grandfather named Johannes Melford. With a little more digging they found that both Tom and Fred also descended from two brothers who fought in the Revolutionary War.

It’s no surprise that two of the nicest men in the world happen to be related!
