Carrie Underwood has scored her 27th career #1 with her latest single “Southbound“!

While Matt Stell topped the Billboard chart for this week with his debut single “Prayed For You,” Carrie reached the number one spot on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles chart. “Southbound” is the third single from Carrie’s history making #1 album Cry Pretty.

This is the first number one single from the country music singer-songwriter since her collaboration with Keith Urban “The Fighter” topped the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart in July of 2017. The last solo chart topper from Carrie came in January of 2017 when “Dirty Laundry” made it to the pinnacle of the chart.

Carrie is set to host the 53rd Annual CMA Awards Show with special co-hosts Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton November 13th on ABC.

Congratulations to Carrie Underwood on her #1 song “Southbound”! Listen for it on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.
