I’ll be honest, I’m NOT ready for Christmas…BUT, I AM ready for Christmas movies! Lifetime is airing a record-breaking 28 new Christmas movies this winter, and it all starts before Halloween!

Christmas movies are one of my favorite things to watch with my mom, and while the formula is generally the same…boy meets girl, he or she is generally a fast paced business type, while the other is a small town type, who teaches the fast paced business type what being in the Christmas Spirit is really about. Usually, a dog is involved, they have to save Christmas in some way shape or form, and in 2 hours suddenly they are in love.

Doesn’t matter if they are all the same, I will watch every last one of them. I will also guess exactly what is going to happen within the first 5 minutes which usually drives my mother crazy, but hey, it’s our tradition.

So, I’m very excited about Lifetime’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” programming that was just announced. Last week Lifetime released the full holiday premiere schedule, and not only are they airing more than 1,000 hours of brand new Christmas cheer, but they also promise non stop Christmas movies, old and new, between Oct. 25 and Christmas Day.

This years lineup sounds amazing, but I’m also excited to see some of my favorite leading ladies cast, like Sara Drew from Grey’s Anatomy’s, Melissa Joan Hart from Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Fuller House star Candace Cameron Burre, and Jana Kramer and Hillarie Burton of One Tree Hill.
