Garth Brooks kicked off his “Dive Bar Tour” at Joe’s on Weed St. in Chicago last night (7/15) and our co-worker Scott Miller has an inside look at the concert!

We’re not sure HOW Scott got the ticket to the show other than he is from Chicago and obviously has some great connections in the Windy City. However, thanks to Scott we get a small look at what had to be an incredible night with Garth live.

Last night’s premiere stop for this partnership was also covered by Jimmy Kimmel Live. Jimmy talked to Garth and aired the performance of the song “Dive Bar,” Garth’s new single that features Blake Shelton on the recorded version of the song.

Garth’s seven-city “Dive Bar Tour” is in partnership with Seagram’s 7 Crown to encourage people to support local bars this summer, but do it responsibly. The two iconic names ask people to “Join the Pact” to end impaired driving…

Garth has joined forces with Seagram’s 7 Crown to celebrate our countries greatest dive bars all summer long.

Seagram’s 7 celebrates National Dive Bar Day every year on July 7, so after debuting his single “Dive Bar,” Garth thought it would be the perfect fit to join forces with Seagram’s 7 for a good cause.

Together they are encouraging fans, friends and family to Join The Pact and commit to never driving impaired.

Over the summer, Seagram’s 7 and Garth are aiming to add 700,000 pledges to JoinThePact.com.

Join The Pact is a global mission to reduce crashes and injuries caused by driving impaired. Anyone can sign the pledge to never drive impaired at jointhepact.com.

After signing the pledge, you can use the hashtag #JoinThePact on Facebook and Twitter to share your commitment with friends and family so they can make the pledge too.
