The cute Mogwai named Gizmo from the 1984 film Gremlins is returning in an animated adult-focused prequel on TV.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals the new animated feature will be a part of the Warner Media direct-to-consumer streaming service. The service is set to debut in the fourth-quarter this year.

The prequel series is called Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai. The series will highlight how Gizmo and Sam Wing met in 1920s Shanghai. Sam is the shop owner Mr. Wing in the 1984 feature film.
