Remember when mom would say “TV rots your brain?” Well, maybe that’s not the case after all, especially when an episode of “The Office” has been credited for helping save a woman’s life!

Cross Scott is only 21, and never had any CPR training in his life. He came across a woman unconscious in her car. At first he didn’t know what to do because he didn’t have any life-saving skills, but he knew waiting for rescue workers might mean the woman wouldn’t make it.

So, he broke the window with a rock, realized the woman wasn’t breathing, and started CPR. But if he had no training, how did he perform CPR? Well, he had seen the episode of “The Office” where Michael Scott and the Dunder-Mifflin staff receive CPR training, and he remembered the instructor showing Michael Scott to push down on the victim’s chest to the rhythm of “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees.

The amazing thing is…it WORKED! within 2 minutes of performing CPR, while singing the classic Bee Gees hit, the woman started breathing! She was then transported to the hospital and is recovering nicely.

How incredible is that?
