Thomas Rhett‘s latest single is an auto-biographical song about how his “Life Changes” and it now marks another change to #1.

The song is the title track from the country music singer-songwriter’s current #1 album Life Changes, available everywhere now. The advanced Billboard Country Airplay singles chart shows that Thomas Rhett has pushed Jason Aldean out of his two-week stay at the top of the chart with Miranda Lambert and the song “Drowns The Whiskey.” The song also sits at #1 on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles chart for this week.

“Life Changes” is not only the fourth single from Thomas Rhett’s latest album, it is also the fourth single to hit number one.

The song marks five chart toppers in a row for the Georgia native and is his 11th career number one single.

“Life Changes” becomes Thomas Rhett’s second number one single of 2018 following the song “Marry Me.”

The nominees for the upcoming 52nd Annual CMA Awards were revealed last week. Thomas Rhett received three nominations this year. He is a nominee in the Male Vocalist of the Year category for the second consecutive year. He received his first ever nomination in the category for Album of the Year for Life Changes. Thomas Rhett is also a nominee for Music Video of the Year for the music video for his #1 song “Marry Me.”

Thomas Rhett is very grateful for how far he has come in his career in recent years.

“I feel like we have definitely come a long way in a couple of years. And God has been so good to us. It feels like every year gets cooler and every time we put a record out, I feel like I’m becoming a better writer, and a better showman, and a better singer, and hopefully we do start doing some bigger and cooler stuff. But I’m very blessed where we’re at right now,” he shares.

Congratulations to Thomas Rhett on his #1 song “Life Changes” and here’s to what I am sure will be many more to come!
