If you follow country music singer-songwriter Granger Smith on social media you know that he is as country as it comes down to his boots and roots. He even has an alter ego named “Earl Dibbles Jr.” that has his own Twitter account.

Granger loves and lives the country life from being a proud American to fishing and hunting and just living the country lifestyle in every way.

He shares that his favorite ways to enjoy the fruits of his hunting is eating chicken fried venison.

“My favorite is chicken fried venison using back-strap,” Granger states. He explains you, “beat it down real thin and cook it just like a fried chicken, fried steak with some flour and egg and love it.”

Granger will be here in Bloomington at The Castle Theater for a concert Thursday, February 1st. The concert will feature an appearance by his alter ego Earl Dibbles Jr. who has music of his own.

The video at the bottom of the page is one of Earl Dibbles Jr.’s songs that we just might hear live at the concert called “City Boy Stuck” … you might just get a laugh while watching it.
