Justin Moore has announced that his next single will be the title track off his current album and the song has a “Waylon groove” to it.

Justin’s current album Kinda Don’t Care is his third consecutive album to hit #1 on the Billboard Country Album Sales chart. The album has already produced the #1 singles “You Look Like I Need A Drink” and “Somebody Else Will.”

The title track is the next single and Justin remembers making his version of the song different from what the demo of the song sounded like.

“We cut this song really, really different than the demo, which sometimes you do, sometimes you don’t do,” he recalls.

“More times than not you stick close to the demo,” Justin states as he continues his explanation, “The demo was more of a slow, kind of heartbreak kind of thing and we turned it into kind of a Waylon [Jennings] kind of groove.”

Justin recalls loving the song demo and how he felt after he completed his version of the song. “When I first heard the song I loved it, I loved the idea and it was right in my wheelhouse,” he admits, “but when we recorded it, it came out even cooler than I anticipated.”

“Sometimes when you go into the studio things get better or you like them more so and that’s totally what happened to ‘Kinda Don’t Care’,” Justin shares.
