Was Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman Pregnant?

UPDATE (11:40 AM – 1-12-17):
Kimberly and Stephen did adopt!

I found the story on womanista.com which reports that the couple “adopted a baby girl through a ‘domestic adoption.'”

Again, I meant no disrespect at the second possibility below. It was just the angle and position of the baby in the picture that made me even think of that.

I am sincerely happy for Kimberly, Stephen and Daisy on the new addition to the family!

Kimberly Schlapman and Little Big Town both posted pictures on Twitter that has us wondering what is going on!?

We saw Little Big Town in many places last year and Kimberly did not look like she was expecting. Heck, in early December she co-hosted the Today Show with Hoda Kotb and Kimberly did NOT have even a little baby bump to indicate she was pregnant.

So when she posted the picture below and message on her Twitter account just this morning (1/12) it made me say, “What the heck?”

The official Twitter account for the group Little Big Town also posted the picture and their own message welcoming the new member of the Little Big Town Family.

OK, so there are two possible explanations.

The first one being that Kimberly and her husband Stephen decided to adopt a baby to add to their family.

The second one could be considered slightly offensive to say if the first is actually correct. However, I am not trying to offend, just thinking out loud so to speak. In the two pictures the baby looks as though it could be a doll … an amazingly life-like doll … but it could be. You add the information that her name is “Dolly Grace” and that could be a hint about the new addition to the Schlapman family.

What do you think? Am I totally off base with the second possibility?

When more details are made available I will update this story.
