The Susan G. Komen organization has honored Jason Aldean on their list or people who are “More Than Pink.”

The list of people who are “More Than Pink” is paired with the movement from the Susan G. Komen organization to reduce by 50% the number of deaths in the United States due to breast cancer over the next decade. The list that Jason is a part of is filled with men and women of all walks of life that are going the extra mile to help reach that goal.

Music Row reports that joining Jason on that list are names including:

“Dr. Mary-Claire King (discoverer of the genetic link for increased breast cancer risk); Dr. Craig Jordan (the “Father of Tamoxifen”); former First Ladies Laura Bush and the late Betty Ford; Princess Dina Mired of Jordan; WWE Superstar John Cena; boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya; and Allison Titus and Jordan Phillips, young women whose families have been affected by breast cancer and who have raised funds to ensure that no family is affected as they were.”

October 25th Jason will be doing his “Concert For A Cure” for the 11th year in a row, Jason has raised more than $2.3 million dollars to help find a cure for breast cancer in the decade he has been committed to the “Concert For A Cure” events.

This year, Jason’s “Concert For A Cure” will be combined with the “Opry Goes Pink” event. Jason will get to throw the switch to change the backdrop at the Grand Ole Opry to pink for breast cancer awareness. Jason will also present a check to the Susan G. Komen organization from the money raised during his tour over the past year to help fight breast cancer.
