If you haven’t seen the music video featuring 30 country music stars called “Forever Country,” you need to check it out now!
The song and music video are a part of the celebration by the Country Music Association (CMA) for the 50th Annual CMA Awards coming November 2nd on ABC TV.
The song features 30 former CMA winners including George Strait, Blake Shelton, Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Randy Travis, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Alabama, Brooks & Dunn, Reba, Jason Aldean and so many more!
When I saw the clips of the artists doing their recording for the song at ForeverCountry50.com, I thought this music video will be a “studio recording collage” style and really somewhat tame for what the whole thing is celebrating. I was wrong!
Through the use of computer imagery the music video for “Forever Country” is amazing! The artists sing an incredible mash-up of the iconic songs “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” “On The Road Again” and “I Will Always Love You.” Through the video they are in fields, Nashville, Paris, London and all around the world. It is very appropriate for the intent of the musical event since, in my opinion, country music represents the “soundtrack of life” no matter where you are.

While the music video and song have been released in advance of the 50th Annual CMA Awards Show in celebration of the event and to help promote the milestone TV show, one would only assume that there will be something done with the song on the show itself with so many of country music’s stars gathered for the show.
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will again host the show when the 50th Annual CMA Awards airs on ABC TV live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Wednesday, November 2nd at 7:00 PM central time (8:00 PM eastern time).
