Over the weekend fans of Brett Eldredge and Kellie Pickler were shocked by some of their tweets until they quickly realized their Twitter accounts had been hacked.

Brett and Kellie became the latest celebrities to be hacked Saturday night (6/4) as the Country Rebel website pointed out. Most of the posts made by the hacker are too inappropriate for me to share here. However, one of the tweets on Kellie’s account read “I hope you die @taylorswift13.”

Fans of the two country music stars figured out what was going on quickly and were fast to defend the stars pointing out that these messages could not be from Brett and Kellie. You can read some of those fans posts at CountryRebel.com.

Both Brett and Kellie have regained control of their Twitter accounts and have not given the hacker any additional notoriety by addressing the hack on their accounts.

I am not trying to give that hacker any notoriety by this blog, simply trying to remind you that if you see something from your favorite stars that doesn’t seem like they would post, it probably isn’t really them.
