Kenny Chesney has reached the number one spot on the Billboard chart in the same week Chris Janson reaches the top of the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart.

Kenny has jumped from number four to #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart according to the advance release of the chart. “Save It For A Rainy Day” becomes Kenny’s 28th chart topping single of his career. It is also the fourth consecutive number one single from his The Big Revival album. The other chart topping singles from the album are “American Kids,” “Til It’s Gone” and Kenny’s collaboration with Grace Potter “Wild Child.”

Chris Janson has scored his first ever #1 single with “Buy Me A Boat” on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles chart for this week. When the advanced release of that chart was issued it showed the title track from Chris’ debut album as the top song for the week. The album Buy Me A Boat will be released October 30th.

Congratulations to Kenny Chesney and Chris Janson on their #1 singles this week!
