Brett Eldredge revealed the track list for his new album Illinois is true “Brett Eldredge fashion’ … he used Snapchat!
The highly anticipated sophomore album from the Paris, Illinois native will be released in just a matter of weeks. The debut single from the project “Lose My Mind” has already reached the top 10 on the country singles charts and is still climbing.
The reigning CMA New Artist of the Year is becoming known not only for his singing and song writing abilities, but also for his sense of humor, stunts and all around fun personality. Fans that follow Brett on social media have experienced Brett’s goofiness firsthand. His Snapchat followers were the first to find out the track list for his new album named after his home state.
Brett revealed the song titles in a series of video clips on the social network and did it in his own unique style. Brett posted videos that feature audio of the songs along with visuals to depict the song titles. For example, he wore a University of Illinois football helmet for the song “Illinois.” he sang into a champagne bottle for the song “Drunk On Your Love” and he stood in front of a picture of himself for the song called “Shadow.”
Brett put all of the short videos together and posted it to YouTube as a single video which you can watch above.
The album features a collaboration with Thomas Rhett who Brett will co-headline with on the 2015 fall “Boots and Suits Tour” with special guest Danielle Bradbery sponsored by CMT.
Brett co-wrote and co-produced all 12 songs on the album. Illinois from Brett Eldredge is scheduled to be released Friday, September 11th, but it can be pre-ordered through iTunes here.
The little taste of the songs makes me more ready to hear the complete project than ever before!
