Kevin Harvick Wins Wild Brickyard 400 as NASCAR Playoffs Are Set [VIDEO]

The Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway was a fairly wild one. Kevin Harvick dominated the race and the NASCAR Playoffs are now set.

The final race of the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season had plenty of excitement. There were nine caution periods (including one 12 minute red flag period) during the race. There were no less than 14 cars that ended the race with some damage. Some of the damage was inflicted on pit road.

Kevin Harvick dominated the race as he led a race high 118 of the 160 laps in the Brickyard 400. Both of the first two stages ended under the yellow flag with Joey Logano winning stage one and Kevin Harvick as the winner of stage two.

Following the ninth and final caution Kevin Harvick got out to lead the race and held that position for the final 30 laps to win the race. Joey Logano crossed the “yard of bricks” finish line second with Bubba Wallace claiming third place. William Byron finished in fourth place as Clint Bowyer rounded out the top five.
