With the excessive heat warning through Sunday for Central Illinois, some places of business have decided to open their doors to people as official cooling centers.

Residents who do not have access to air conditioning, especially children and the elderly, are encouraged to take advantage of the following cooling centers throughout McLean County and surrounding areas.

Get out of the heat if you can!
