According to Deadline, author Suzanne Collins and set to add another book to her ‘Hunger Games’ series. The currently unnamed prequel story is set to take place 64 years prior to events of the 1st book.

The book is scheduled to reach shelves in May, 2020.

Before you ask, YES there will likely be a movie adaptation of the book. Speaking to Deadline, Joe Drake, the Chairman of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group said, “We’ve been communicating with her during the writing process and we look forward to continuing to work closely with her on the movie.”
