Kyle Larson won the Monster Energy Open to make the Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race to claim the 1 Million Dollar prize!

There were 15 NASCAR drivers that qualified to race in the All-Star Race prior to last Saturday’s events at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Four more drivers were added to the field through racing and fan vote.

William Byron claimed a spot in the main event by winning stage one of the Monster Energy Open.

Bubba Wallace claimed a spot by scoring the win in stage two of the race.

Kyle Larson won the final stage and therefore the actual race in the Monster energy Open to claim the last “race your way in” spot for the night’s main event. The fourth and final transfer spot in the All-Star Race was filled by Alex Bowman who won the fan vote. See the complete results of the Monster Energy Open here.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series teams and drivers will remain at Charlotte Motor Speedway for another weekend. This week is the Memorial Day Weekend tradition of the Coca Cola 600 Sunday, May 26th.
