Night two of the Blind Auditions was last night (2/27) on season 14 of The Voice. Did Blake Shelton score any artists for Team Blake?

Through the first three artists on the one-hour episode Blake pressed his button to no avail. When it came time to choose a coach, the artists picked one of the other three coaches.

It looked as though the reigning winning coach on The Voice would be shut out for the night.

Pryor Baird, the final artists of the night, took the stage and belted out his own version of John Mayer’s “I Don’t Need No Doctor.” The powerful, bluesy rendition motivated all four coaches to press their buttons. Each coach made their case to join their team with Adam Levine and Blake appearing to be the most passionate.

I really thought that Adam was going to score this one because of the guitar connection. Perhaps it is because Pryor has lived in Nashville for the past seven years and has traveled in the music circles where people know Blake and therefore he chose to join Team Blake.

Blake, Adam and Alicia Keys all added one artist to their teams bring each team to a total of three for the week. New coach Kelly Clarkson is making it well-known that she is in it to win it as she added two more artists to Team Kelly and ends the week with five members on her team.

The Blind Auditions will continue Monday, March 6th with both Adam and Kelly still having their “Block” to use. Will it come into play next week? We’ll have to wait and see.
