Today, March 8th, is International Women’s Day. It’s a day to celebrate and honor the achievements of women around the world.
This year, R&B legend Chaka Khan has given us the soundtrack to celebrate today, as she recently re-recorded her 1978 hit “I’m Every Woman.”
The new version of the hit has a twist as Chaka has teamed up with powerhouse vocalist Idina Menzel for the revamped version of the song.
The song is for the global humanitarian organization CARE as part of their #IMEVERYWOMAN International Women’s Day campaign.
Idina said Chaka is one of her idols and it was an honor to record with her.
It’s incredible!
