With a successful opening weekend under its belt, the talk of a sequel for the film DC Super-Pets is growing fast.

The film opened in the number one spot with over $23 million at the box office and the director, Jared Stern isn’t shying away from a sequel.

“I hope it does well enough that there could be more because we loved making it,” said Stern about a possible sequel. “And I would love to see what the Gotham City of this world is like and other parts of the world.”

DC League of Super-Pets is in theaters now.
