The 2022 Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois is this Saturday, February 26th. There are a few opportunities for plungers to get pre-registered this week.
Plungers need to raise a minimum of $100 to plunge and claim their Polar Plunge hoodie. To save time Saturday, you can attend one of the following pre-registration events to turn in any off-line donations of checks or cash and pick-up your hoodie.
Wednesday, February 23rd: 4-6pm at Lil Beaver Brewery (5 Finance Drive, Bloomington, 61704)
Thursday, February 24th: 4-6pm at Buffalo Wild Wings (603 S Main St., Normal, 61761)
If you have hit your $100 fundraising minimum these are early opportunities to come and pick up your official 2022 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge Hoodie and day of plunge supplies.
Bloomington Polar Plunge Day of Details
Saturday, February 26th
Location- Miller Park Lake – 1020 South Morris Ave., Bloomington, IL 61701
Registration starts at 9am inside the Miller Park Pavilion. Sweatshirt pick up will be located in the Nicor Warming tent outside by the beach entrance.
First wave of plunging will start at 10:30am and the second wave starting at 12pm.
The final plunge schedule and day of plunge information will be sent out closer to the plunge date.
