Prior to their performance for Thursday evening’s “CMA Summer Jam” Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani gave an update on what married life is like.

“Married life so far is… it’s incredible,” Shelton told People. “I mean, it’s everything that it already was, which was awesome. She just can’t get away from me now.”

Blake and Gwen married on July 3rd at his Tishomingo, Oklahoma, ranch. Blake and Gwen will take the stage at the Ascend Amphitheater in downtown Nashville to perform their hit, “Happy Anywhere,” which was filmed in late July.

Blake’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Dwight Yoakam will take the stage at the “CMA Summer Jam” airing on ABC Thursday, September 2nd at 8/7 central.
