Kane Brown has teamed up with his former employer, Lowes, to renovate his hometown Boys and Girls Club.

Brown, who spent time at the East Lake Boys and Girls Club while growing up in Chattanooga, Tennessee says, “the boys and girls club is a community where kids can feel safe. They see the same group of friends when they go there so for me I feel like it’s a nice recess while your parents are at work.”

The renovation is part of Lowes’ 100 Hometowns project. Lowes has committed to doing, “everything from revamping libraries, food shelters, homeless shelters, civic centers and tons of jobs,” says Todd Drew, Store Manager for Lowe’s in Hixson.

Lowes will clean, expand and renovate the center and will be completed in August 2021.
