Did you know you have to get a REAL ID by next year or you won’t be able to fly in the United States?

That’s right! I just found out myself when I was at the DMV 2 weeks ago. In fact, October 1st marks the one year countdown until you will need to have a REAL ID, passport or military ID in order to fly domestically. Your Driver’s License won’t work after October 1, 2020.

Good news is you can get your Real ID now, because I can guarantee it’s going to be super busy next year when everyone is trying to get theirs, last minute, before the deadline. (Yes, that is mostly directed to myself lol)

The deadline to update your ID is October 1, 2020.
