Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Irishman’ looks like another great crime thriller from the director who has made some of the classics of the genre!
Scorsese has teamed up again with ‘Goodfellas’ alums Robert De Niro, who plays the title character, and Joe Pesci, who won an Oscar for his role in ‘Goodfellas’ for a film about the famed disappearance of Union boss Jimmy Hoffa. Hoffa is played by legendary actor Al Pacino, who is being directed by Scorsese for the first time.
It will be the NINTH film that De Niro and Scorsese have teamed up for. Together the two have made some truly classic films like the previously mentioned ‘Goodfellas’, ‘Taxi Driver’, ‘Raging Bull’, and ‘Casino’.
