When season 17 of The Voice begins Blake Shelton will be the last original coach on the show. Can he reclaim his throne as “King of The Voice“?
Blake is the most successful coach on the show. He has won as a coach in six seasons, the most wins by any coach on the show. That’s twice as many Adam Levine, number two on the list of most wins by a coach. Blake has only failed to get at least one artist in the finals in one season (season five). He has had 23 artists in total in the finals over the 16 seasons of the show.
That being said, it has been three seasons since Blake has won the competition as a coach. The end of the upcoming season will mark two years since a Team Blake artist has won The Voice.
The Voice Season 17 will premiere Monday, September 23rd on NBC.
